Neighbour Note's Brand New Fully Renovated Studio

Neighbour Note has just renovated/remodelled a new music studio in the Baby Point Gates neighbourhood of Toronto. This is an eleven minute walk from our previous location in Toronto's High Park neighbourhood. We are excited about our new Toronto music school. Here are just some of the things we did in our renovation of the new space.

Every room has been fully insulated with sound proof insulation. Our massive rock band room has double the insulation of the other rooms. In terms of acoustic treatment, We have installed sound panels on the walls and ceiling and bass trap panels in the corners to improve the sound quality within the rock band room by reducing unwanted echoes and reverberations within the space making it quieter and more controlled.

In terms of style and design, we went with music themes for each room. The red walls of the heavy metal room give the room a bold look. Posters of famous recording artists like Iron Maiden, Metallic, Megadeth and Operus decorate the walls. The classic rock room is done in a neutral brown colour with posters of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix. The female pop recording artist room is painted in a colourful purple colour. Musical artists such as Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Gracie Abrams decorate the wall. The musical theatre room is done in a calming blue colour with posters from famous musicals such as the Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Cats, Wicked, Hamilton, and the Greatest Showman. All posters are licensed for use.

At Neighbour Note, music students can learn in a relaxed, fun, quiet environment. We offer Toronto music lessons for just about any instrument including: piano, guitar, classical guitar, jazz guitar, singing, vocal coaching, drum set and percussion, bass guitar, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp, saxophone, flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, french horn, oboe, bassoon, tuba, euphonium and baritone, bagpipes, accordion, banjo, mandolin, sopilka, songwriting, music composition, music theory, harmony, counterpoint, digital music production and recording. We also run Toronto summer camps and March Break camps at our Baby Point Gates location. Camps include: Little Rockers Band Camp, Teens Rock! Band Camp, Guitar Boot Camp, Guitar Ensemble Camp, Ukulele Jam Camp, Summer Sports Jam Camp, and Legends and Lore, Music and More Camp.

Our brand new, fully renovated music studio offers a fun stimulating learning environment where students can feel inspired by famous artists in the music industry. The design is focused on fun and the space is fully functional. The soundproofing and acoustic treatment of the rooms makes each room quieter and more controlled. This is extremely important since students can be easily distracted from unwanted noises or from other music students who are practising, performing, and learning at the same time.
