Dr. Steve Koh Teaching at the University of Toronto

Dr. Steve Koh has just recently accepted a teaching position as a sessional lecturer as an Applied Instructor in Violin performance at the University of Toronto. Steve received his DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) degree from the University of Toronto this past September. Steve's dissertation titled "Spaces-in-Between: A Swing-Informed Approach to Performing Jazz- and Blues-Influenced Western Art Music for Violin" will be available on ProQuest in November 2017. Steve teaches both private violin lessons as well as a group strings program entitled 'The Chamber Music Initiative' here at Neighbour Note. Congratulations Steve. We are so proud of you!
