About Phyllis
Phyllis Zhong has a Master of Music (M.Mus) degree in piano performance from Birmingham Conservatory where she was a prized student of Philip Martin and Simon Nicholls. She also obtained a Bachelor of Music degree from Xiamen University where she performed widely in China, Hong Kong, England as well as Canada. Phyllis has extensive teaching experience and has taught in China and Toronto. Phyllis teaches piano lessons at Neighbour Note.

I always try to inspire and encourage my students by helping them to fully understand music rather than pressuring them to practice.
Phyllis' teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of inspiring and encouraging her students by helping them to fully understand music rather than pressuring them to practice. Her piano lessons are fun, creative and encouraging. Many of her students have achieve high marks in examinations and competitions.
