Philosophy Of Teaching

Mark believes that musical grow and development should stem from both enthusiasm and an immersion in music and the music making process.

Mark believes that learning music should be a multifaceted, organic process that includes components of technique, theory, composition, ear training and improvisation. He also believes that musical grow and development should stem from both enthusiasm and an immersion in music and the music making process. This is what Mark strives to help each of his students cultivate within their own relationship with music.
